Home Rembang Pasucen Cave
Pasucen cave is in the area of teak wood forest on Pasucen Village, Gunem sub district, for about 40 km from Rembang city (7km from Mantingan camping ground). There are three caves that their stone and wall consist of lava sediment constructing beautiful stalagtites and stalagmites. Those caves are Jagung cave, Joglo cave, and Pajangan Cave. There are unwritten stories that these caves used to be a hiding place of Blancak Ngilo as a result from his conflict with Sunan Bonang. Also there’s a spring (pancuran) from Sunan Bonang’s stick embedded whose looking for water to wudhu (Moslem way of cleaning his/her body before praying/sholat), because of this then the village named Pasucen. On this area also there is a lake and waterfalls 22 M in height.
