When To Go

As a main island of Indonesia, Java tends to have a fairly even climate all year-round. Rather than four seasons, Java has two - wet and dry; and there are basically no extremes of winter or summer.

Although traveling in the wet season is not usually a major problem in most parts of Indonesia (including Java), mud-clogged back roads can be a deterrent. The best time to visit is during the dry season.
