Geography
Indramayu Regency lies in the north coast of West Java, 107’51-108’36 East Longitude and 6’15-6’40 South Parallel. The administration borders are Subang Regency on the west, Java Sea on the North, Cirebon Regency and Java Sea on the East, Majalengka Regency, Sumedang Regency and Cirebon Regency in the South. The area of the Indramayu Regency territory measuring 204011 Ha in a long Indramayu is well known as the producer of mangoes, rice and the salt-water fish. Tourism
Tirtamaya Beach is one of the popular tourist attraction in Indramayu. Instead of the scenery, there are also tourist supporting facilities such as Jet Ski rentals. This beach is located 16km from Indramayu dowmtown.

Arts
Sintren
Sintren or Lain is a local art that still exist until nowadays, especially in the north coast community. Except the mystical feeling, the interesting things about this arts are their unique musical intstrument such as Buyungh, Kendi and Bumbung that made of bamboo.
Topeng Dermayon Dance
This dance has its own uniqueness because of their movement, costumes & its mask.
Tarling
Indramayu is the origin place of Tarling Art during 16th century.
Tarling is a combination between musical instruments and songs that originated took shape of the singer that accompanied only by guitar and bamboo flute (suling).
At the moment it’s growth fastly and adding with modern musical instrument. However classical Tarling is still attract a lot of tourists interest.
Genjring Acrobatic Show
One of the Indramayu’s local traditional arts is the acrobatic show. This show is similar to other acrobatic show that used a one-wheeled bicycle, rope and others.
Genjring/Rebana musical instrument is always played during their performance.
