Tomohon is a tourism city located some 22
kilometers east of Manado, the capital city of North Sulawesi province.
Since 2000, Tomohon was declared an autonomous region and it was
officially inaugurated by the Minister of Home Affairs on 4 August 2003.
At present, Tomohon consists of 35 villages in lime sub-districts,
namely West, East, Central, South and North Tomohon.
