Walled with a brick and white stone. The cemetery is divided into three parts: the mosque, the graves and the spring. The mosque is located in the eastern part, the graves in the western part and the spring in the south western part. All of these three parts are bounded by fences and connected with gapura (gate). On the first yard there is an ancient script saying : Kanjeng Panembahan Senopati, Ruled Mataram Kingdom, Djinawal year of 1509, or 1579, grave Kotagede.
A part from that there is building that is called the Bangsal Duda. In the second yard there are 4 building, one in every corner. On the third yard there is the main building consisting of there building called the Bangsal Prabayaksa, Bangsal Witana and Bangsal Tajug. Bangsal Prabayaksa is a building with brick walls in which there are 72 graves made of white marbles.
There laid Panembahan Senopati, Sultan Sedo Krapyak, Sultan Sepuh, Pangeran Adipati Pakualam I, Ki Ageng Mangir, PA II, PA III and PA IV. In Bangsal Witama there are 4 graves, made of marbles for Ki Ageng Pemanahan and Ki Ageng Juru Mertani.
In Bangsal Tajug there are 3 graves, these are the graves of Nyai Ageng Nis, Pangeran Jayaprana and Datuk Palembang. Beside the main building there are also other building in smaller sizes, located in the eastern part of the main building. These building are used as graves for the Pangeran Pakualam I descendants.
